Sweden will participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 and will select their entry in a series of semi-finals, a second chance round, a online competition and a national final which will be organised by Swedish broadcaster SVT.

Melodifestivalen 2012 is a Swedish song contest that will be held between 4 February and 10 March 2012. It will select Sweden's 52nd song to be internationally represented in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012.[1]
On 30 October 2011, SVT announced that blogger and presenter Gina Dirawi, singer Sarah Dawn Finer and actress Helena Bergström will host the shows.[2]
